A series created in the aftermath of losing a close friend to homophobic violence. These images reflect on grief, remembrance, and the emotional strength of queer life in hostile environments.
Sparked by the murder of a dear friend — “a vibrant soul silenced for existing outside imposed margins” — this project becomes an act of remembrance and resistance. Light, explosion-like textures, and layered distortions evoke both trauma and transcendence. The series meditates on mourning and the fragile persistence of queer presence in a world that often refuses to see it.
