Pintura de Guerra

2024

This series brings together phrases I’ve heard throughout my life — spoken in neutral tones, thrown out as casual remarks, yet carrying the weight of accumulated harm. Isolated, they seem harmless. But side by side, they form a quiet chorus of violence. Each one is a crack, a wound that doesn’t bleed at first, but stays. This work is an intimate inventory of these subtle injuries — and the strength that rises when they’re spoken out loud.
