Pintura de guerra is a photographic study in which phrases addressed to me over time are written directly onto my face. Through self-portraiture, the work examines how repeated language becomes attached to appearance, identity, and self-perception. The face functions as both image and surface of inscription, turning private speech into a visible social record.
